About

I build the way you build:
by hand, one project at a time.

The designer, the developer, and the only phone number at Locke Hollow are all the same person. This page is about him.

Josh Hardison — Owner & Developer

The kid who took the computer apart never stopped.

I grew up pulling machines apart to see how they worked, turned that into a Tennessee Tech degree, and made it a trade of my own. Now I build websites for people whose work deserves better than a template — custom builders, remodelers, and craftsmen across the country. Strategy, design, code, SEO, and every call you'll ever make to Locke Hollow: that's me. I live in Dickson County, Tennessee with my wife Madison, cat Juni, and dog Leah.

Where I stand

Custom work recognizes custom work.

Why the trades

You can spot the difference between production work and custom work from across the street. So can I — in websites. Most contractor sites are the digital version of vinyl siding: fine, forgettable, and identical to the next one. Your work isn't. Your website shouldn't be.

How I work

Every line of code on every site is written by hand — the same reason you don't order cabinets from a big-box store. It's slower to build and better forever after: faster, more secure, and shaped exactly to your business instead of the other way around.

A family operation

Locke Hollow is family-owned and operated. My sister leads branding and design from lower Alabama — the creative eye that keeps every project as sharp as it is fast. I handle strategy, code, and everything after launch.

Small on purpose

You'll never be handed off to an account manager, because there isn't one. The person who designed your site wrote its code, answers its emails, and picks up when you call. That's not a limitation of a small shop — it's the reason to hire one.

What you can expect

The same standard you hold your subs to.

A number in writing

Every project is scoped and priced in a written proposal after one call. No surprise invoices, no hourly meter running.

A straight answer

If I'm not the right fit for your project, I'll say so on the first call and point you somewhere better. Your time is worth more than my pitch.

Receipts, not promises

Every site I ship scores 100/100 on Google Lighthouse. Run any of them through Google PageSpeed Insights yourself — the claim is testable, so test it.

A direct line

Call (615) 375-4606 and I answer. Two years after launch, that's still true — same person, same number.
